TecH: RIM's day in COURT.

Hey I get to QUOTE Myself At the beginning of this month (wow, so long ago in BLOG time!) I stated my opinion that the Judge would NOT terminate the blackberry service because of the Patent infringement.

I still say that the patents WILL be tossed out by the government

I expect that if the judge takes THAT possibility into account there will be NO way that RIM will be ordered to shut everything off.

If the Judge DOES order RIM turned off, I would expect RiM to appeal to the Supreme Court, based on the fact that the patent office HAS removed four of the five patents.

If the Supreme court were to deny the case, I would expect that A restraint of trade suit might be brought.
