According to adfreak, Stephen Colbert co-wrote and co-starred in Strangers With Candy, the weirdly funny Comedy Central series featuring Amy Sedaris as a 46-year-old high-school freshman. A movie version, actually a prequel to the TV show, was completed in 2004, and FINALLY has a distribution deal! Here's the trailer!
I'm gonna go see it no matter what. (I don't have cable, so I can't get the Comedy Central show...)
