Well, Karl Rove was back in front of the grand jury for an amazing fifth appearance in the Valerie Plame investigation. I doubt you or I would be given that many chances to explain why our story to investigators was so screwy the first time.

And it turns out that Rove may have received a "target letter" from U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald. The Feds generally bestow such an honor on someone whose indictment paperwork they are proofreading and about to send to the office laserjet.

It's about time!
